Judas Bowling
Judas Bowling
At Judas Inc., our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome hound dogs while nurturing a compassionate community that supports hound owners. We honor the legacy of Judas Bowling by promoting the joy of hound dogs as beloved pets and advocating for their protection.
The rising costs of food and care, combined with stagnant wages and limited resources, often lead to the abandonment or neglect of hound dogs—who are frequently prioritized less than other pets due to their hunting-only reputation. Through education, resource-sharing, and collaboration with larger rescue organizations, we aim to raise awareness about the incredible qualities of hound dogs as companions. Our goal is to create a safer, happier future for all hound dogs and to showcase their potential as cherished family members.
Judas Inc. was founded in loving memory of Judas Bowling, a cherished figure in the hound hunting community and a prominent advocate for the loving care and treatment of hound dogs. Some of his final words were "take care of my dogs" and we intend to do that and more.
As a PKC (Professional Kennel Club) Hall of Famer and a respected leader in the coon hunting world, Judas dedicated his life to the sport and the animals he loved. His online following and influence in the world of hound dogs will have an everlasting impact.
Judas Bowling was a compassionate competitor and proved his point when he placed 2nd in the World Coon Hunting Championship with his dog DeeBo, despite the "kisses to win" jokes he embraced due to his affectionate training techniques.
Our organization is dedicated to providing resources and support for hound owners, whether they are seasoned enthusiasts or new adopters. We believe that hound dogs, often misunderstood as solely hunting companions, can thrive in family environments filled with love and care. Our foster care program offers safe havens for hounds in need, allowing them to find their forever homes while ensuring they receive the attention and affection they deserve.
Together, we can change the narrative surrounding hound dogs and show the world that they are not just hunting companions but loving family members. Join us in honoring Judas Bowling's legacy by supporting our mission. Whether you’re looking to adopt, foster, volunteer, or simply spread the word, your involvement can make a significant difference in the lives of hound dogs in need.
